BANEX HOTEL
1:18 am
I'm so excited to be doing another hotel review, The last hotel I reviewed was very grateful and even sent an appreciation mail. I'm looking forward to working on a lot more reviews of hotels in different parts of Lagos, so if you have a new hotel or an already existing one in mind, send me a mail.
Last week, I was in Maryland with my older sister and had the opportunity to stay 2days at Banex hotel and suites, Maryland. I'm usually skeptical about old hotels staff, because most times they turn out to be quite grumpy and I dare say annoying. But when we walked into the reception we were greeted with cheerful smiles and happy pleasantries. Banex hotel is located in one of the busiest parts of Maryland and so it is very close to the airport, Maryland Mall and easily accessible to Ikeja
.

The room prices range from 15,000 to 78,000 depending on the room size and each room comes with complimentary breakfast. We stayed in one of the business suites and enjoyed the ambience of the thick drapes and faux wooden floors. It was not the greatest escape from Lagos hustle because there's always traffic around Anthony in Maryland but the spa treatment the hotel offers would have definitely taken the edge off.
We felt really welcome during our stay as the staff was very helpful and helped us out with a lot (especially with some things that were falling apart in our room). Banex is definitely a hotel I can recommend if you’re planning to go to Maryland or somewhere close by!
